About Me

eyeseeuI am:

Clouded moments of uncertainty tainted with abandoned reflection. lately I have found an unquenchable thirst for knowledge that serves well to silence the demons resounding within my conscience.

When new found knowledge is not enough I become reacquainted with obsessions that for the last year I’ve sadly ignored: mixing paint on canvas creating forms and devils, incessantly playing guitar… so much to a fault, and always exploring the excitingly intoxicating yet confusingly intricate world that is the opposite sex…

I write, though not enough. I dream though far too much. I read, oh dear god do I read… for my passions demand it of me. Hmmm, what else am I beyond one that is forever searching for new ways to breathe and exist each day… forever evolving.

Who am I really? Do we not all ponder this of ourselves at times?
My own musings and contemplations seem to reveal such a portentous riddle…

I feel I am:
Anomie, Raskolnikov, Weltschmerz, Leopardi’s La Quiete dopo la tempesta, Ennui, Giordana Bruno’s ash, Foucault’s discourse…  hidden worlds within not so hidden words.

I have found it always to be between the lines where my truth truly lies… so it is also always that within that moment after my inhale has subsided and its inevitable exhale has not yet been born… only there do I truly live.

I suppose it then fitting to be so well an apneist… forever holding on and protecting my own personal newborn Elpis. Someday she shall be let out again.

But that is such a gaze into a mirror and we all know how much I love funhouse mirrors! So perhaps I should consult an external source… bring on Myers and Briggs! Ok, still a funhouse mirror of sorts but it is the best I have at 5am.

Hmm… Apparently, the MBTI lists me as an INFP type personality. [I-78, N-50, F-12, P=22]

Carl Rogers (my god) was an INFP… as was Homer presumably (not sure where they got that one!) so at least I am in good company with my idols. However, the clincher is Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes! lmao
